This Web site is a companion to the EarthTrends site, launched in 2001 by the World Resources Institute. Environmental Agencies of the World
This is a lists of the agencies in most countries primarily responsible for environmental issues at the national level.  As can be seen from scanning these lists, different countries organize their environmental monitoring and regulatory systems differently.

Natural Resources
Maintained by the University of Denver, the site is a research tool in the natural resources and environmental law fields offering country-specific information, including legislation, legal databases, government agencies and search engines.
